5 Day Itinerary

Day 1, September 26 CHUCUITO to CUSCO   We travel across the highest road in Peru; watching the scenery change as we near Cusco. In route, we visit Raqchi—the Temple of Wiracocha—built for 'Apu Kon Titi Wiraqocha', the superior invisible God of the Andean people. Perhaps the most audacious Inca construction with the largest single roof, the temple is built on top of a volcanic stone foundation. Here we connect with the element of fire—burning away all that no longer serves us so we can connect with the passion deep within us. And, if the time is right, perhaps we will get an opportunity to commune with the orbs that frequent the area and hear their tales of wisdom. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 2, September 27 MORAY and MARAS   As we continue our pilgrimage to Machu Picchu, we venture to the sacred terraces of Moray. Here we find three sets of huge natural depressions that have been sculpted into deep terraces. These circles represent for us the Cosmic Spiral—the expansion of our essence from our center. We work with the energy of this place to connect to the womb of Mother Earth and one-by-one put our message into the Cosmos to live fully in this life.

Below Moray are the Maras Salt Terraces where the Incas cleverly built terraces to capture the flow of a salty spring that emerges from the hillside. During the dry season, the water evaporates, leaving salt that can be harvested and sold. When light is reflected across the terraces and refracted by the salt crystals, the effect is quite stunning—reminding us of our unique light inside that is spilling out into the world lighting a path for those to come.

We spend the night in Ollantaytambo; home of an Inca agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military center. The Ollantaytambo hillside is dotted with innumerable Inca constructions, including the fortress and magnificently crafted temples and terraces. The enormous fortress was strategically built here on a mountainside that dominated the three valleys that come together at this point. The town appears to have been master planned based on the architectural style and layout of its streets and squares, the design of its water and sewage system and the use of massive polyhedral stones and trapezoidal doorways each cut perfectly to fit and withstand any natural disaster.

Overlooking Ollantaytambo is Viracocha—the great creator god in Incan mythology. Viracocha rose from the darkness to bring forth light and breathed life into stones to make mankind. Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

Day 3, September 28 MACHU PICCHU   Taking the train from Ollantaytambo, we arrive in Aguas Calientes at the base of the 'Crystal City'. With great anticipation, we continue our pilgrimage to Machu Picchu celebrating our true essence as the Children of the Sun. After asking permission of the guardians of Machu Picchu - the Puma, Condor and Light of Spirits - to enter, we ask to expand our spirits with the qualities of the Father and the Mother; Munay (love), Llancay (service), Yachay (wisdom). Our pilgrimage includes a visit to the Seven Places of Power intertwined with meditation and ceremonies to connect us fully to the energetic power of Machu Picchu. Due to the stone complex's high voltage magnetic focal point, every incantation made is amplified to incalculable proportions. So, we consciously choose our words and thoughts as we explore this 7th Wonder of the World. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4, September 29 MACHU PICCHU to CUSCO   Returning to Machu Picchu for a sunrise ceremony, we merge our energies with this sacred site and deepen our understanding of the Inca mythology. We relive the excitement of Hiram Bingham’s miraculous find as we perform a special offering to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the re-opening of Machu Picchu. The rest of the day is spent following your intuition and exploring at your own pace. You may want to climb the sacred peak of Wayna Picchu, hike to the Temple of the Moon, walk to the Sun Gate or Inca Bridge or further explore the Royal Tomb, the Funerary Rock, the Sacred Plaza, the Condor Temple, or the Inihuatana Stone. Or just find a private spot to sit and absorb the powerful energy of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon, we catch the train and return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco

Day 5, September 30 CUSCO & HOME   We spend the morning exploring Cusco before transferring to the airport to fly to Lima to connect with our international flights.

Our Spiritual Guide - Jorge Luis Delgado

Jorge Luis Delgado, author of Andean Awakening: An Inca Guide to Mystical Peru, is one of the foremost spiritual guides in all of Peru. An indigenous Peruvian, he was raised on the high plateau in the Lake Titicaca region - training with the Kallahuayas shamans, Q'ero Elders and other mystical teachers.

As a modern Inca by birth and heritage, he embraces and lives the three Inca principles of life - Munay, Llancay and Yachay. Munay, the first principle, is the Law of Love; unconditional love and compassion for everything that surrounds us. The second principle, Llancay, is the Law of Service; working and creating through the expression of our gifts as the ultimate service to the Divine. And Yachay, the third principle, is the Law of Wisdom; connecting with our inner spiritual or authentic self and knowing all is One.

Jorge shares his wisdom with the world to support the dream that it is time for humanity to awaken and live fully in love, peace and oneness. He believes it is an extraordinary time to be alive as the 2012 alignment of the Earth with the axis of the Milky Way Galaxy announces a new dawn! Descendants of the Inca call this time the Pachakuti, "the return of the light" after the 500 years of darkness. Peru is said to be the "morning of the new sun" - the portal through which rays of the new light will begin to awaken humanity to a new consciousness.

Experience the wisdom of the Andean people and explore how to apply these principles in our every day lives. Help us bridge cultures and activate the ancient dream of the return of the Children of the Sun.
