"When we understand... the sacred, life-giving balance of male and female energies... inherent in the cosmos itself... blessings will begin to flow like a gentle river into the parched lands of the Earth...the desert shall bloom. Universal peace and well-being will be restored..." – Margaret Starbird

On June 10, 2016 Pope Francis officially released a decree acknowledging Mary Magdalen as the "one who loved Christ and who was very dear to him," and furthermore stated she can now be considered "a paradigm of the ministry of women in the Church."

This is a turning point in our history. Mary Magdalen is now seen as worthy as the male apostles. Imagine that! It took over two thousand years!

The suppression of women has been going on way too long. Now there is a breath of hope and light leading the way toward a more balanced world.

However, this is NOT about religion. This is about the archetype of the lost feminine and the story of how women lost their power. Let's bring it back and join this Divine Feminine with the Divine Masculine to create the Divine Union we have been waiting for!

Join us on The Way of Mary Magdalen October 1-9, 2017 (with optional extension Oct 9-11) - a transformational journey to the home of Mary Magdalene, the Black Madonna, the Holy Grail, the Cathars and the Knights Templar! The ancient wisdom felt in these sacred places will guide us on a path of awakening our personal truth and restoring wholeness.

Scholars such as Margaret Starbird have been speaking out about the importance of restoring balance to our planet for a while now. Genuine feminine qualities such as nurturance, compassion, intuition, creativity and healing are what we desperately need. Genuine masculine qualities such as protection, logic, reason, strength and order are also in need of healing.

By excavating and reclaiming both feminine and masculine energies we find reconciliation of our hearts and a return to love. In a land filled with immense mystery, wisdom, beauty and magic we follow The Way of Mary Magdalen, embracing and healing the energies of the lost feminine and the wounded masculine.

We invite both men and women on this journey as a way to heal the inner feminine and the inner masculine in all of us. None of this is about gender.

Come, join us on this transformational journey as we explore, through the archetype of Mary Magdalen, the divine feminine and the divine masculine, deepening a sense of individual and collective wholeness, authenticity and oneness. It is here, amongst the stunning beauty of the French Pyrenees that we see, we feel, we know, we become…

The Way of Mary Magdalen

~ A Divine Reunion in the Languedoc Region of France ~

9-Day Itinerary: October 1-9, 2017

Today we arrive in Toulouse, France ready to begin our Divine Adventure! We are transported to our hotel where tonight we have a ‘meet and greet’ complete with dinner and bubbles!

Overnight in Belvianes (D)

The Cathar Castle of Montségur towers above the town on a steep and rugged knoll. Known as the ‘secure mountain’, it is the eternal symbol of Catharism and their true devotion to Mary Magdalen, Jesus and ‘The Church of Love.’ It is here that some of the Cathars – successors of Mary Magdalen - faced their final standoff with nearly 10,000 Roman Catholic Church crusaders who demanded them to either renunciate their faith or be burned at the stake. After ten months, the Cathars were no longer able to resist. Subsequently, 225 Cathars were burned at the stake for their belief in the Divine Feminine and the sacred union between Mary Magdalen and Jesus.

Legend says that just before the fall of the fortress, four Cathars were seen carrying a treasure down the steep mountain. Some believe the treasure was the ‘Holy Grail;’ others the ‘Book of Love.’

As we walk the path of the Cathars to their ‘secure mountain’ fortress, we contemplate their journey and their faith. To understand them further, we explore the medieval village with its little church, Black Madonna and the Cathar Museum. Here we honor the Cathars and heal that part which has been persecuted, wounded or suppressed.

Today we explore the enigma of the Sacred Temple Valley, the Magdalen’s wisdom and the origins of the mysterious discoveries of priest Abbé Béranger Saunière in Rennes-Le-Château. This is the fabled village of Holy Grail lore where Magdalen allegedly preached. For centuries, treasure hunters have been looking for the ‘Holy Grail’ in an around the village. In the 19th century a country curate priest, Berenger Sauniere, an ardent worshiper of Mary Magdalen, mysteriously came into a large sum of money. We wonder what treasure he found! With this money, he built the Tour Magdala, renovated the church in an unusual way and dedicated it to Mary Magdalen.

This area is located within a natural pentagram with each node designated by a mountaintop. The pentagram, a symbol of Venus (the goddess of love), appears to be defining a temple which some refer to as a Venus Temple. Within this sacred geometry, the Magdalen energy is very present. Some say that the Holy Family once lived on the banks of the Ruissau des Couleurs and that she taught nearby from the Book of Love.

Legends also say that an ancient Temple of Isis is deep in the Earth below the village. It is known as a ‘doorway to heaven’ – a portal to a new world and to personal and universal transformation. Here we connect with the Black Madonna, Magdalen and Venus energies to support our journey through the portal.

Our day is filled with powerful energies as we venture to Bugarach and Rennes-les-Bains. Bugarach and the surrounding area are shrouded in mystery and myth. Mt. Bugarach is a mysterious geological anomaly because the top layers of the rocks are older than the bottom creating an ‘upside down’ mountain. Energetically, it is a conduit for energies with lay lines streaming out in a multitude of directions - possibly a Stargate where other dimensions and realities pass into the earth. Because of this unusual structure, there are many legends — light ships, UFO activity, underground cities, the myth of Agartha and the hollow Earth.

Both Nostradamus and Jules Verne were local to the area. Jules Verne wrote about Bugarach and the existence of an underground civilization. Pagan Celtic religions saw the subterranean networks and hollow hills as entrances to other worlds, specifically the realm of the fairies.

Mt. Bugarach is also reputed to be the site of an ancient Essene community. We absorb the energies here as we drive up this mystical mountain. It represents the masculine strength that brings divine balance to this land.

After absorbing these masculine energies, we go home – to Mary’s home in the small mountain village of Rennes-les-Bains. A place of special healing waters, thermal baths, and rejuvenating hot springs, we sit on the Seat of Isis and take time to reflect, ask for guidance and attune to the potent energies of the area. The Seat of Isis is a 5000-year-old stone seat that is mysteriously carved in a stone near the spring where three powerful ley lines pass.

Mary Magdalen is often compared with the Eternal Goddess Isis. Perhaps it is no coincidence Mary Magdalen settled here!

Nearby is Le Benitier - Baptismal Font - where the fresh and salt waters of the Sals and Blanque Rivers alchemically come together like the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. We consummate this sacred union of the ‘Divine One Within’ at the heart shaped pool known as the Fontaine des Amours - the Fountain of Love.

Overnight in Belvianes (B, L, D)

We awaken in our own time to the day of the full moon – a day of clarity, reflection, relaxation and celebration! Set your own pace as you take time to commune with nature and go within to reflect upon the Divine Union. And, if anything is blocking that Union, take time to illuminate, explore and reckon with the polarities that still reside in your heart.

Later, if desired, join the group for activities to release that that no longer serves this Divine Union.

As the full moon rises, we gather under her powerful energy to receive clarity and truth! The darkness is illuminated and our souls are set free!

Overnight in Belvianes (B, L, D)

After a lovely breakfast, we venture through a beautiful, forested valley along the Aude River to Limoux. A characteristically French city, Limoux is a mixture of old and new with a rich history of Catharism. Known for its Friday market and Blanquette de Limoux sparkling wine, we take some time to peruse the market and shop for delicacies.

Afterwards, we arrive at the beautiful Basilica of Notre Dame de Marceille where we meet a special Black Madonna – a statue of Mary, the Heavenly Mother of all, depicted with dark skin. By some, she is the ancient ‘earth-goddess converted to Christianity’; the source of fertility and new life from which all life returns. According to Medieval symbolism, Black Madonnas are considered the ‘Seat of Wisdom’ since wisdom and power spring from her lap. As the Dark Mother archetype, she is a symbol of our inner shadow-self when properly integrated.

Legend says that a farmer plowing his field found this particular Black Madonna in the earth when his ox refused to move forward. He took the statue home only to find it disappeared in the night and returned to the place where he had found it. This happened three times before the local monks built a chapel there. The Black Madonna of Notre Dame de Marceille is considered to be so powerful and special that she has been kidnapped on several occasions.

We continue our exploration of goddess history in the Medieval town of Alet-les-Bains – meaning ‘The Chosen Place.’ A walled city with an abbey and moat built by the Benedictines, it is a center for Jewish scholars, Cabbalist traditions and Nostradamus. Inside the church, there stands another mysterious Black Madonna and an exquisite stained glass of a six petal rose – a symbol for the ‘Rose Line’ – which some believe is the bloodline of Jesus and Mary Magdalen.

We bask in the transformative energies of this magical environment as angels silently move among the paintings, meditation spaces and healing waters. This is a perfect place for the locals to gift us with mystical stories and introduce the Book of Love.

Overnight in Belvianes (B, L, D)

We return to the magnificent Pyrenees to the Château de Puilaurens – a Cathar and Grail castle – located on a mountain peak lined with quartz crystal. In contrast to Montségur, Puilaurens is a peace-filled place of refuge outside the territory ravaged during the crusade against the Cathars. Once owned by the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Michel de Cuxa, it was a tranquil refuge for many Cathars.

As we follow the fragrant botanical path through the woods to the castle, we investigate that place of refuge within us; the place of peace where we accept and love all that we are! And like the Château de Puilaurens, we emerge from the shadow to sparkle in the light of love.

As we pursue the higher love of Mary Magdalen and the Divine union, we take an adventurous ride into the narrow Gorge de Galamus to Saint Antoine’s hermitage and to a powerful and exquisite grotto chapel dedicated to Mary Magdalen. Purportedly, Mary Magdalen taught the Way of Love here in a room next to a small spring. As we emerge from this portal to the underworld, we bring to the surface the qualities of love, of the masculine and the feminine. And, as we enter the portal of higher love, we unite them into the Divine ONE as Anneke sings the Abwoen – the original Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic!

Overnight in Belvianes (B, L, D)

Collioure – a charming seaport on the Mediterranean Sea – has its own mysterious past as a place where secret cargoes and saints from the Holy Land entered France. This land of troubadours, Knights Templar, inspired artists, and unsurpassed beauty has had many masters from the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, Aragons, Spanish and French each with their own set of beliefs and intentions. However, it was made famous by the Knights Templar and the tale of ‘illusive’ treasures that they left as they passed through on their crusade routes to the Holy Land.

Locals acknowledge the existence of strange energies in the area. Mix that with the unique quality of light and brilliant colors due to its position on the Mediterranean Sea, artists and mystics have been drawn to Collioure for a long time. Could ‘this place without shadows’ be a transformational portal?

Standing guard above the town is the French royal castle Château Royal de Collioure. Originally a castle of the Templars, it also has had many masters that have added and modified it to suit the needs of the time.

Here we relax and enjoy the peace and beauty as we integrate our powerful journey! Later we celebrate our time together with a closing dinner.

3-Day Itinerary: October 9-11, 2017

Some time after breakfast, we bid farewell to our guides and friends not continuing on to Marseille and transfer to the Toulouse train station to connect with our train to Marseille. We settle into the gentle rocking of the train for the 5 hour ride to Marseille where we transfer to our hotel.

Overnight in Marseille Area (B)

We follow the last steps of Mary Magdalen to St Maximin-la-Ste Baume, the region where Mary Magdalen retreated to live in penance until she died. The secluded mountain cave is now known as the Grotto or La Baume of Mary Magdelene – a medieval pilgrimage site. We climb in silence through an enchanting old forest to the ancient grotto of Mary Magdalen that lies at the base of a rugged cliff, embedded in the side of the mountain. As we approach, we join with her in prayer and meditation. In the silence, can you sense her spirit?

Many feel Mary Magdalen died here as well and was buried on the site that later became the Basilica of St Maximin. Before we return to our hotel, we visit the crypt to see the golden reliquary of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in the grand Basilica of St Maximin.

Tonight we reminisce and celebrate this journey to our Divine Union through the Way of Mary Magdalen. We know she will be with us always as a guiding light!

During her first trip to South America, Junia participated in the Merrayabo Tsintikash Jiwiki Bewakani Ritual Ceremony - a ritual to heal the master plants of the world - conducted by Shipibo-Conibo shamans. The shamans bestowed upon her, her Shipibo name "Inin Beka" which means 'sweet smelling protective cloth.' Since that moment, she opened to the calling and has become a master of holding sacred space so others can journey within; safely and fully protected.

And now she has merged her love of adventure and her natural leadership into a unique travel experience called, Divine Adventures.
